St. Patrick’s Day

This year, Saint Patrick’s Day falls on Thursday, March 17th. It’s a cultural and religious holiday meant to commemorate Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. And while it is often celebrated for reasons beyond religious or national pride, it presents a good occasion for anyone to enjoy the holiday with family, friends, food and drinks.

Just be sure not to overindulge, always play it safe and make a plan. Holidays of this nature are notoriously monitored by local law enforcement, and it isn’t uncommon for checkpoints to be set up in and around town.

So utilize the convenience of modern tech! Download and use the ride-sharing apps on your smartphone and hire your designated driver from Lyft, Uber or Sidecar. Paying a few bucks for the convenience of having your personal driver beats the cost of picking up a first, much less another, DUI offense in California.
